The accountant says, “Joe, let's see your expense account records.” And suddenly, it's a threat to democracy and a constitutional crisis. A threat to democracy? Well, that's somewhat ironic from a party that just threw out a year's worth of primary elections when they didn't like the candidate that their own voters selected. Republicans Were Just Given a Chance to Save the U.S. From Bankruptcy - We Can’t Repeat Past Mistakes The last time the budget reconciliation process was used as intended was in 1995 under Speaker Gingrich. The result was four balanced budgets in a row. I appeal to the Speaker to follow the success of the Gingrich majority. If we repeat past mistakes we will lose the future. McClintock Confronts USCIS Director Jaddou About Her Failure to Answer Questions Provided in Advance You were asked these questions in September. You were told in advance they would be asked again. There's no excuse for you appearing before this committee unprepared. This is one of the saddest appearances by an agency head that I have observed in the House of Representatives. Just Say No to Subsidies A proposal to Elon Musk & Vivek Ramaswamy: to balance the budget and improve the economy – just say NO to subsidies. Not only will a subsidies hunt save hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars, it will reduce the overall cost of the things being subsidized and reinvigorate the economy by restoring the flow of capital to its most productive use. 2020 Wildfires in CA Produced Twice as Much C02 as CA Prevented from All C02 Restrictions Since 2003 My bill, the Proven Forest Management Act expands throughout the entire National Forest System the categorical exclusion for forest management projects that saved South Lake Tahoe from the Caldor Fire. This law has proven its effectiveness in reducing the severity and frequency of catastrophic fire. Slide 0 Slide 1 Slide 2 Sli

“I’m glad to hear, that after many years of delays and negotiation, the Army and the City of Riverbank have come to an agreement on a lease. This is a huge step towards turning the Army’s ammunition plant into economic growth for the region. I look forward to continuing my work with Riverbank and the Army to see this project through. This long term lease signals the collaboration of federal, state and local government that we should strive for. Riverbank’s goal is to continue that momentum with our partners to ensure economic mobility for our residents for generations to come. We see the effort and we hope to continue this energy more efficiently than ever before while keeping our residents as our main priority.”

The city has been in the process of attempting to transfer the old Army depot site into use for economic development. In August 2025 Congressman McClintock met with city officials, local leaders and Army representatives on site at the facility to discuss the conveyance schedule, outstanding challenges and next steps required for the transfer of the depot. “I’m glad to hear, that after many years of delays and negotiation, the Army and the City of Riverbank have come to an agreement on a lease,” said Congressman McClintock. The secured lease agreement will allow for the next steps to commence in the process of conversion of the depot.
